Overview over the different types of API data sources Convier supports

Connecting API data sources to Convier

Convier can integrate with most JSON-based APIs. Reach out to [email protected] if you need assistance configuring a particular source.

Supported authentication schemes:

• Static API token
• Oauth app token (Application Permission in Azure)
• On-behalf-of (Delegated Permission in Azure)
• Basic credentials (username + password)
• JWT grant (e.g. Folkeregisteret)

JSON API

• Click JSON API
• Set base URL
• Add endpoints and variable definitions
• Privacy note: During configuration of API sources, it is often necessary to use real identifiers as example values, for example SSN or business registration numbers (“Variables” in the picture below). These example values are stored encrypted in the configuration. They are are not passed to the frontend, but are used to facilitate the configuration of projects by providing access to example objects.
